Credentialing

SEQC credentials all of its physicians and licensed mid-level providers every three years.  It contracts with Atlantic Integrated Health, Inc. (AIH) to peform the primary source verification.  AIH follows credentialing guidlines established by the National Comittee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). 

SEQC has delegated credentialing for a number of plans which reduces SEQC Members' credentialing paperwork.  SEQC has delegated credentialing for the following plans:

• DirectNet, PPO
• Fortified Provider Network
• Healthgram (FKA Primary PhysicianCare)
• Health Payors Organization
• Multiplan

The North Carolina Standard Application should be utilized for all providers' credentialing. In addition to completing and mailing the application to Mary Beth Black at Medical Management Associates, it is important that copies of all documentation be included.  The package should include copies of the following: NC License, DEA Certificate, CV, diplomas including Medical School, Internship, Residency and Fellowship certificates (as applicable), ECFMG (as applicable) and Professional Liability Insurance Face Sheet.
