Dr. Sam Drake has over 20 years' experience in treating digestive problems of all types. Dr. Drake is specially trained to treat hiatal hernias, tumors, ulcers, jaundice, hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver and disorders of the pancreas, gallbladder and liver. He also performs endoscopies, colonoscopies, endoscopic laser treatments and cancer screening. Dr. Drake graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his Internal Medicine intership and residency at Emory University and Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. After a two year fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas, Dr. Drake opened his practice in Gastonia. We accept most major insurance plans and we welcome new patients.
